Fans speculate biopic of Virender Sehwag as former Indian cricketer gets spotted on film set

A picture, which has now gone viral, showed former Indian opener Virender Sehwag in a unique avatar on Zee set.

Cricket is becoming an integral part of Bollywood movies' success. Directors and producers have now found a new success formula which is a biopic of sports personalities. After the bumper success of MS Dhoni's biopic, we saw a flurry of movies based on popular sports personalities. 

From Mary Kom to Mithali Raj, a dozen movies have been made on the lives of popular athletes. And it seems we might have another biopic on the way as a former Indian cricketer was spotted on a film set. 

A picture, which has now gone viral, showed former Indian opener Virender Sehwag in a unique avatar on Zee set. While it was not confirmed what Sehwag was shooting for, fans were quick to speculate that the cricketer is shooting for his biopic. 


Biopic on Jhulan Goswami to release in 2023

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for the movie  Chakda 'Xpress, which is based on the life of legendary Indian women's cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Bollywood actress and Virat Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma is set to play the role of Jhulan. The movie is set to be released next year.
