The most-celebrated cricketing rivalry will be once again in action as India and Pakistan is set to cross swords second time in nine days of the Asia Cup 2022. After successfully qualifying in the Super-4 stage, both teams will look to earn two valuable points when they will be lined up against each other at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 4 (Sunday). In their previous fixture on August 28 (Sunday), Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya put up an all-round show as he helped the Men in Blue to kick start the Asia Cup campaign in style.

Both teams have been in terrific form lately as they are expected to engage in yet another thrilling contest on yet another Sunday evening. While cricket fraternity stays extremely excited to witness one match between both sides, Asia Cup 2022 is likely to draw three matches between top-two quality rivals. While both teams are already going to engage in their second fixture of the tournament, considering the quality of both the side, India and Pakistan are likely to be two finalists.

On the eve of India vs Pakistan second clash, Pakistan top-order batter Mohammad Rizwan, who is also the second highest run getter in the tournament, claimed that their dressing room is considering the tournament as best of three series between India and Pakistan. 

"We have jokingly said among ourselves that it's a best of three match series between India and Pakistan. Fans from both the countries are anticipating India vs Pakistan as the final," Rizwan said in pre-match press conference. Top-seeded batter further claimed that clash against India is always a high-voltage affair as there is so much pressure and passion involved to it.

"Playing India is always a pressure game. Even people outside Asia wait for it. Obviously, it's always like a 'final' as there's so much passion involved in this game," added Rizwan.
