RedBull continued their dominance in the Formula 1 calendar 2023 after clinching back-to-back podiums at the recently concluded Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. After Sergio Perez took the first place, Max Verstappen finished second, the drama from the third place continued.

During the thrilling race at the Jeddah Circuit, the third-place  drama continued with George Russell clinching it. However, Fernando Alonso was demoted to fourth after he was punished for not serving the five-second penalty by the race stewards. However, when his side Aston Martin challenged the stewards and went for a review, Alonso was reinstated at third, meaning he clinched his second consecutive third place finish in F1 2023.
