Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc is undoubtedly experiencing tough time since Australian Grand Prix. 109 points behind incumbent champion Red Bull Max Verstappen, Leclerc is anticipating a tough race on home soil at Italian GP's Autodromo Nazionale Monza track.
Ahead of highly anticipated race, Leclerc has recently suggested Ferrari to stay away from all the noise surrounding team principle Mattia Binotto's future and opined to stay united. After strong start to the 2022 season, Leclerc appeared to overcome Verstappen's challenge but a series of technical problems have brought Red Bull and Max Verstappen ahead of everyone in the chart.
With Leclerc grabbing most of the spotlight at his home race, Charles Leclerc's iconic $ 1 Million worth Ferrari 488 Pista Spider received a police escort in Italy ahead of the Italian GP this weekend. As per the video floating around on social media, Leclerc got the police escort as he went down the streets of Italy with police and bikes surrounding him.

Leclerc was asked to address the rumours that team boss' position could be under threat to which the Ferrari driver claimed that team should not be distracted with outside noise. "There are always rumours around a Formula 1 team and especially with Ferrari. But most important thing is not to get distracted, instead focus on the race. We are very united as a team, and I believe we need to keep going like this. We have showcased our potential from last year to this year and I would like once again repeat that as a team we need to put whole energy in this weekend's race," said Leclerc.
Ferrari driver has only secured two podiums out of ten races and is anticipating tough race this weekend. "It's going to be bit of a difficult weekend. We expect Red Bull to come stronger. The track does not suit our car due to which we need to put some extra energy in the race. We have overperformed our expectations and we have had some good and bad surprises but overall, it's been a good season," concluded Leclerc.
