The ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 has been gaining a lot of traction in the world. While few have opted to use the marque event to raise their voice against human crisis and violation of human rights in the separate part of the world, few are enjoying their time in Qatar watching highly competitive matches between the top football teams.
Although India is not among the participants in the elite competition, the FIFA craze is skyrocketing among Indians and the same was evident when a prominent Bollywood actor was recently spotted during one of the matches in the World Cup 2022.
Popular Bollywood actor Aamir Khan along with his son and ex-wife were pictured watching a match in Qatar. In one of the viral videos, the veteran Indian actor was seen clicking pictures of his ex-wife Kiran Rao and his son Azad outside the Lusail stadium in Qatar.
Later, he also handed over his phone to a fan and joined his family in the frame. Notably, Aamir’s son posed with the Argentina flag wrapped around his neck, while Kiran and the Indian actor opted all-black outfit and beige t-shirt, respectively.
The top two teams in each of the eight groups will go through to Round 16 or the pre-quarterfinals. So far, ten teams have qualified for the knockouts, while six spots are still left to be filled for the next round.
