With only a few hours remaining before the much-anticipated ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, a new report has revealed some shocking details which have been around in the Indian camp. Although, India will begin their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign against Bangladesh on February 20, reports have been rife that all things might not be well in the dressing room.
As per a report, a wicketkeeper is unhappy with the Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir over his snub from the ODI XI. The report in Times Now, quoting sources, has said that a 'current India wicketkeeper', who is not the first choice in ODI playing XI, feels that he has lost his spot due to an 'external reason'.

However, the report did not name the player, and also did not mention whether the wicketkeeper is part of the Champions Trophy squad or not. It is to be seen that KL Rahul is the first-choice wicketkeeper in the Indian XI in ODIs, while Rishabh Pant is the other name featuring in the squad for the marquee ICC event.
KL Rahul was also seen being preferred over Pant in the recently-concluded ODI series against England and Gambhir after India’s 3-0 win also reinstated faith in KL Rahul to don the gloves in Champions Trophy 2025.
