The Hundred competition is currently underway in England and various domestic and overseas players are participating in the new 100-ball tournament. New Zealand batter Finn Allen is also participating in the event representing the Birmingham Phoenix side. Meanwhile, he has posted a picture on his Instagram where he can be seen posing in the team's jersey, showing a bat. However, it was an intricate detail at the toe end of this bat that caught the fans' attention.
Notably, the name Virat Kohli was clearly visible on the bat which suggests that Finn is actually playing with the India captain's bat in the competition. It is a fact known to many that Kohli likes to have a variety of bats in his playing kit. In fact, each and every person cricketer who gets to know him, know his love towards bats and many want to try out a bat from his envious collection.

Allen yet to don Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey in IPL
Allen is part of the Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. The RCB side roped in the Kiwi player when Josh Philippe declared himself unavailable for the 2021 season. Although he hasn't played a game yet in their colours, he is being touted as one of the players to watch out for in the future. The 22-year-old hogged the limelight after he emerged as the highest run-getter in New Zealand's Super Smash T20 competition in the season gone by.
The right-handed batter accumulated over 500 runs at an average of 56 while striking at an impressive 193. He played the first game in The Hundred against London Spirit where he managed just 11 runs but ended up on the winning side. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is currently in the United Kingdom ahead of the five-match Test series against England which will commence on August 4. Although he missed out on the warm-up match in Durham owing to a stiff back, he is likely to be deemed fit for the series opener at Nottingham.
Allen is likely to join Kohli and the rest of the RCB boys in UAE for the remainder of the IPL 2021 in September-October.
