It’s official! Floyd Mayweather will go head-to-head against social media star Deji in an exhibition match in November in Dubai. The Youtuber confirmed the news through a social media post on Monday (26 September). Notably, Mayweather Jr 50-0 boxer was in action over the weekend in Japan, overcoming YouTuber Mikuru Asakura with a TKO victory in the second round.

Now, the 45-year-old will return to the ring to fight 25-year-old Deji Olatunji, brother of KSI. The Youtuber announced the news of the exhibition match between the two individuals on Monday afternoon. "Huge thanks to Global Titans and my team for creating this incredible opportunity," said Deji. "It's a privilege to be headlining this phenomenal spectacle in Dubai, against the all-time great Floyd Mayweather. This is going to be fun!"

Mayweather had spilt the beans about his possible fight with Deji a few days back. The American boxer had also claimed that he and Conor McGregor will pair up for a rematch next year. However, the Irish UFC star poured cold water on the prospects, however, with a brief social media post with the caption: 'Not interested'.

Mayweather knocks down Mikuru Asakura

Coming to the match between Floyd Mayweather and Mikuru Akasura, the former world champion floored his opponent with a right hand at the end of the second round as his former welterweight foe Manny Pacquaio watched at ringside. The bell to end the round sounded as Asakura hit the canvas, but it failed to save the Japanese fighter who was unable to beat the count.

Asakura, an MMA star and popular YouTuber in Japan, gave Mayweather more of a workout than the last time the American fought an exhibition in Japan, against kickboxing prodigy Tenshin Nasukawa in December 2018. But the fight was another easy payday for Mayweather, nicknamed ‘Money’.
