The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 final saw the dominant Indian team get into serious trouble as the Men in Blue lost quick wickets against Australia. After winning the toss, the Aussies brought incredible intensity to the Narendra Modi Stadium and managed to dismiss Shubman Gill at a score of four in seven balls.

Despite Indian captain Rohit Sharma's flamboyant stroke-making, the five-time once again pounced back and picked two more quick wickets. Sharma was dismissed at 47 while the in-form Shreyas Iyer perished after scoring just four runs.
Reacting to this early collapse, the fans on social media were in dismay as they prayed for a quick recovery. Fans from other countries were quick to troll the Indians by reminding them about their performances in the last few knockout games.
