Ex-tennis star Sofya Zhuk sent a shockwave in the world of tennis with her announcement that she recently made about joining OnlyFans. A junior Wimbledon champion, the Russia born, Miami-based former tennis star has decided to expand her portfolio and try her hands at modelling, blogging and social media influence by creating content. The winner of the 2015 Wimbledon girls’ singles title, Zhuk had retired from the sport in 2020 citing back issues.

The 23-year-old owns a number of businesses including visa assistance service, beauty salon, and a rental service named ‘Boys Toys’ that provides exotic cars, yachts, and jets to people. Her OnlyFans account will be an add-on to her current ventures. According to the Sun, she announced, “Guys, the moment you’ve all been waiting for is finally here!” She also said, “There will be a lot of interesting material.” Zhuk’s OnlyFans account is yet to be created but it will reportedly have similar content to her Instagram page that currently has 182k followers.

Notably, she won the junior girls’ title at Wimbledon by taking down Anna Blinkova in straight sets in 2019. She was considered as one of the most promising tennis stars; however, she struggled to make a mark over the four years of grand slam appearances. She got eliminated in the first round of 2017 US Open and 2019 French Open. Zhuk won six titles on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Circuit apart from finishing as a runner up in the Newport Beach Challenge in 2018. The Russia-born decided to hang her racquet in 2020 due to severe back issues.
