The F1 2023 season will kick off in March with the Bahrain Grand Prix. Meanwhile, the teams have already started preparing for the new season. After Aston Martin, Ferrari have also announced the launch date for their 2023 Formula 1 car. The car that currently goes by project number 675 will be unveiled to the world on February 14, Ferrari announced a few days back.

“February 14 next year will be a special day for lovers…of the Scuderia, as Ferrari’s 2023 car will be launched on St. Valentine’s Day. Going by the project number 675, with its official designation to be revealed at a later date, the new car will be taking part in the 73rd year of the Formula 1 World Championship. For the third consecutive year, driving duties will fall to the pairing of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz,” said Ferrari in a release.

Notably, Ferrari's last car, the F1-75, returned the team to winning ways after a fallow couple of seasons for the team. The Scuderia had not won a race since 2019 but Charles Leclerc took two victories from the first three races in 2022 to put himself and the team right back in title contention.

Ultimately, that challenge fell short as Max Verstappen and Red Bull swept to victory in the drivers' and constructors' championships, and Ferrari will be hoping the new car allows them to take that crucial next step after finishing as runners-up this year.

While Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will continue as teammates at Ferrari for the third consecutive season, there has been a major change at the top, after the Scuderia recently appointed ex-Sauber head Frederic Vasseur as Team Principal. The former Renault boss replaces Mattia Binotto, who resigned from his position after spending almost 30 years at the team.
