Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc clinched first-place finish at the Austrian Grand Prix as he ended difficult day for the Prancing Horse after teammate Carlos Sainz had to end his race after 57 laps as his engine caught fire on the second corner of the RedBull Ring.

The Monegasque driver finished on the pole over championship leader Max Verstappen but the gap between the two drivers still stands at 38 points in Verstappen's favour. Behind these two young drivers finished the seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton who has been picking up gradually over the last few races.

Now the F1 circus moves to the iconic Paul Ricard track in Le Castellet near Marseille where the previous winner Max Verstappen would want to extend his lead at the top and continue his push for his second straight Drivers' championship.
