Global Esports announced an academy program known as GE Fighting Academy, which will cover both Valorant and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The founder of Global Esports Rushindra Sinha announced on December 18, Monday. According to the information, Global Esports will hire five BGMI and Valorant players from across the country who are ready to dedicate a year or a year and a half to compete in any of the championships of their choice.
Though the players won’t be paid salaries but will be given all the necessary resources along with facilities and training to prepare for the same. Those who want to apply for the academy can simply do so by filling out the enrollment form. While there are no such requirements for the application, Global Esports listed "Hunger To Win" as the only necessity. However, the application does come with several other demands.
GE Fighting Academy Requirements
As mentioned, there are no such official requirements mentioned by both Valorant and BGMI. However, there are quite a few general demands that could prove to be a hindrance for some aspiring athletes.
- Players should not be expecting a salary.
- They should be ready to dedicate at least 12-18 months to esports solely.
- Their focus should be on becoming the best possible competitive athlete in the Indian esports ecosystem.
- Players will be provided with the necessary resources, facilities, and training.
- GE assures money and fame to the selected players who work hard.
To apply for the academy, one would be required to just visit the registration website and fill out the form. The application form requires basic information, including name, age, mobile number, email, city, game title, peak rank, in-game name, passport availability, including relocation request.
