Germany players will each receive 400,000 euros ($390,000) as bonus if they lift the World Cup in Qatar which is scheduled to start in November this year. The country's football association (DFB) confirmed the same on Sunday after agreeing on tournament bonuses with the team.

The bonus for the title win was 350,000 euros for World Cup 2018, where Germany crashed out in the first round. Meanwhile, the players received  300,000 euros each when they lifted the World Cup in 2014.

Each player will earn 50,000 euros for clearing the group stage, while a spot in the last eight will net them 100,000 each.

A semi-final spot is worth 150,000 euros each, while winning third-place would earn Germany's players 200,000 euros each.

Notably, Germany have been drawn in Group E along with Spain, Costa Rica and Japan.

The tournament will begin on November 20 and Germany will open their campaign against Japan on November 23.
