One of the most well known fact about sports is that it's all about respect. Many incidents have often been seen on the field with various athletes demonstrating amazing moments of sportsmanship. Something very similar was at display during the ongoing season of Pro Kabaddi League happening in Bengaluru.

On Day 23, the epic Maharashtra derby was happening between U Mumba and Puneri Paltan. And while it was expected to be a thrilling contest, it turned out to be a rather one-sided affair with the team from Pune absolutely wreaking havoc.

Puneri Paltan players get a life lesson

However, amid some brilliant play shown by the Paltan, the young players of the side also got a life lesson on the evening. With a huge lead of 38-17 and only 5 minutes left, the match was done and dusted and the victory was sealed.

But Puneri Paltan's coach Anup Kumar wanted to teach the young players something which is way more important than a win. Reflecting on the fact when a few players of his side were seen laughing on the mat because of their dominance, Anup said, "Ground mein haso nahi, acha nahi lagta... ye dhyaan rakhna! Hasna nahi bete, acha nahi lagta, vo galat lagta hai."

The players seemed to have understood their mistake as they nodded their heads while listening to their coach. "Badha hona aur mahaan hona, ye do alag baatein hai. Anup ke ye shabd unko mahaan banate hai," commentator Sunil Taneja said.
