Based on this, it can be said that the release of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 will be a massive event. While the other details of the game made it to the news already, its prices and pre-order details have also been leaked.
Talking about the expected price tag of GTA 6, while Rockstar Games hasn’t revealed any information yet, if we consider the recent gaming trends, it could be the most expensive GTA title ever. GTA came up with the GTA 5 in 2013 with a price tag of $59.99. Take-Two Interactive, the company behind GTA released some other games, including NBA 2K24 and Marvel’s Midnight Suns for $70.
There have been rumors that the development budget for GTA 6 reached $2 billion, and hence, the price of the forthcoming edition might go as high as $70. According to Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, the GTA 6 will be released in 2025. The game will be released on gaming consoles, while a year later on PC . While the pre-orders haven’t started yet, they are expected to open a few months before the release.
If considering the past records, fans may be able to begin pre-ordering in September or October 2024.
