The cricket rivalry between India and Pakistan is popular not just in these two nations but all across the globe. Cricket fans will get to enjoy the arch-rivalry once again as India and Pakistan stars are set to clash against each other as former India spinner Harbhajan Singh and Shahid Afridi will lock horns in the upcoming Global T20 Canada 2023. 

The player draft for the tournament was held in a hybrid form on Tuesday in Mumbai, where representatives of all the teams joined from across the globe. The third edition of the tournament will begin on 20 July in Brampton, Canada, where six teams will play 25 games over the course of 18 days. Speaking of the teams, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh will headline for Brampton Wolves, whereas Toronto Nationals will feature legendary all-rounder Shahid Afridi. 

Test and T20 skipper of Bangladesh team Shakib Al Hasan along with all-rounder Andre Russell and Chris Lynn will appear for Montreal Tigers. Other than that, Mississauga Panthers will have Shoaib Malik and West Indies great Chris Gayle.

All the squads for the upcoming tournament will have 16 members from full and ICC associate member nations. The squads will have two marquee stars, four players from associate nations and six from Canada. The past editions of the tournament have seen players like Yuvraj Singh, Lasith Malinga, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and Brendon McCullum.
