There have been many instances where doppelgangers of famous cricketers have taken the internet by storm. From India captain Virat Kohli to English batter Jonny Bairstow, there have been so many lookalikes of cricketers who find them in the news. But rarely does it happen that people with the same kind of appearance feature in different sports.
A recent picture of a WWE Superstar has gotten viral as the wrestler shares a similar physique and facial appearance as India's all-rounder Hardik Pandya. The WWE fighter Carmelo Haynes looks pretty much the same as Hardik. A Twitter user shared a picture of the Haynes and wrote "After making a successful career in Cricket, Hardik Pandya debuts in NXT".

With users finding so much of similarities between the cricketer and the wrestler, Carmelo Haynes started trending in India in no time. This also compelled the wrestler to react. "@hardikpandya7 has me trending in India. Much love," wrote Haynes on Twitter.

The viral picture of Haynes incited different kinds of reactions from fans across the country. While some found it unbelievable, some cracked some interesting jokes. "After seeing his comparisons with Venky he decided to move on in life and choose a career in which could go shirtless," wrote a Twitter user.
Hardik Pandya to return to action in IPL 2022
Talking about Hardik Pandya, the Baroda all-rounder has found himself on the sidelines since the T20 World Cup in November last year. He has not played any form of cricket since then. Having completed his rehabilitation, Hardik was expected to return to cricketing action in Ranji Trophy. But he decided to stay out. This means that he will now be directly seen in the Indian Premier League 2022, leading his new franchise Gujarat Titans.
