Television actress and former Bigg Boss season 18 contestant Kashish Kapoor has made a startling revelation. In an interview she reportedly made quite candid remarks, in response to a question about unsettling encounters. The remarks she made were related to a sportsperson whom she refused to name. This has led to fueled speculations on social media where users are reportedly attempting to piece together the clues about the individual’s identity. In her statement during the chat with Filmygyan Viral, Kashish recounted what she described as a “creepy” experience.
During the interview, the interviewer asked Kashish Kapoor, “Have you found anyone creepy?” Her response was both direct and revealing, as she alluded to a well-known cricketer who had approached her inappropriately. “Actually, this very famous cricketer. That was a little creepy also. He asked to meet in person. I denied,” she stated. She went on to express her discomfort with the cricketer’s apparent assumption that his status would impress her, saying, “You are a cricketer at home. To me, you are a guy, impress me. I wouldn’t be impressed just because of your occupation, right?” Kashish further added, “He thought I should be impressed because he is a cricketer and it can be easy. But I don’t like that. You’re a cricketer, it’s a profession, I respect, but to me, you are not going to bat and bowl with me that I am going to be impressed.”

This is not the first time Kapoor has made headlines this year. In July 2025, she reported a distressing incident to Mumbai’s Amboli Police Station, alleging that her domestic help, Sachin Kumar Chaudhary, stole Rs 4.5 lakh in cash from her residence in Andheri. Kapoor had kept Rs 7 lakh in her cupboard, intending to send it to her mother in her hometown, only to discover that more than half the amount was missing. Chaudhary, who went missing after the theft, was named in a First Information Report (FIR), and the police are currently investigating the case.
Kashish Kapoor’s reported cricketer incident, however, has struck a different chord, highlighting broader issues of power dynamics and respect in interactions between public figures and fans or peers. Her reported decision to decline the cricketer’s invitation has led social media users to comment that she emphasised her personal integrity.
