Faf du Plessis reveals the real gem of PSL

In a conversation with Cricket Pakistan, the former SA captain admitted that the standard is very good in PSL. Faf du Plessis added that the thing that impressed him most about the tournament is the fast-bowlers. He revealed that he was surprised to see the amount of bowlers who could bowl at 140 [kmph] plus. Reflecting on the difference between IPL and PSL, du Plessis said,  "I think in India there is a huge variety of spin bowlers. I feel the real gem of the PSL is the amount of pace.”

Faf du Plessis also had a lot of praise for the captain of Quetta Gladiators - Sarfaraz Ahmed. Talking about his captaincy style, the Protean opined that he is quite different from MS Dhoni. "MS is quiet and reserved. He does most of his things instinctively on the field and Sarafraz is the opposite," said du Plessis.

He added that Sarfaraz is more like Virat Kohli in the sense where he is always talking to the players, talking to the bowlers and always very passionate about how he captains his team and he shows it. While admitting that there is no right and wrong way in captaincy styles, du Plessis said that he always likes playing under under different leaders to see how they go about their business.
