Noni Madueke, an English international footballer, plays as a left-winger and brings a lot of flair and pace in the team. During his time at Chelsea, he has made a total of 91 appearances for the Blues in which he has managed to score a total of 20 goals. The English forward is now ending his journey at Stamford Bridge and is all set for a new chapter in his life as he will be joining Chelsea’s North London rivals Arsenal for a transfer fee of £50m. He has joined the Gunners on a deal valid until the year 2030.

In an interview with Gerard Moreno, Chelsea star left-back Marc Cucurella stated his views on Madueke’s transfer to Arsenal just hours after the semi-final win over Fluminense in the FIFA Club Word Cup. He said that “I do think it was because of everything that was happening regarding his future, and in the end, I think it could have delayed him a couple of days since he left a day early or something like that. It wouldn’t have cost him anything to wait for that next day. In the end, I think he missed a pretty good opportunity."

Noni’s Medal is with US President Donald Trump: Cucurella says jokingly

Further, Marc Cucurella made a joke saying that Madueke’s medal is with US President Donald Trump. He humorously said that he saw Trump putting the medal in his pocket, he will keep it safe in the white house. Noni Madueke is a player who is young and has great potential for development, but ever since his move to the Gunners was confirmed, the Arsenal fans haven’t been happy about this signing. The move was criticised by some Arsenal fans, who started a '#NoToMadueke' campaign on social media.

Noni Madueke will be looking to silence his critics and put up a show at the Emirates under Mikel Arteta. Arsenal are looking to win the Premier League after consecutively finishing runners-up for three seasons in a row. Arsenal have already made many new signings into the squad and Madueke will be one player to watch out for under Mikel Arteta.
