Assam all-rounder Riyan Parag responded to a fan on social media asking about the Rajasthan Royals all-rounder's condition following Andrew Tate’s arrest on March 12, Tuesday . Tate was detained in Romania after an arrest warrant was issued following an investigation carried out by Bedfordshire Police.
Parag, who is a part of the 2008 IPL winners Rajasthan Royals is set to participate in the 17th edition of the cash-rich T20 tournament. Parag recently displayed brilliant prowess in the Indian domestic cricketing sphere, including the Deodhar Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and the Ranji Trophy.
The cricketer recently opened up about not being able to fetch a national call despite his form in several tournaments. Parag caught headlines with his second Ranji hundred celebration in the Ranji. The 22-year-old star spoke about his vision and told Hindustan Times, “My vision is pretty clear. I want to enjoy every game I play and that’s what I am doing. I’m not thinking about the squads or tours, not thinking about the selections or even for that matter who is doing what in the Ranji Trophy.”

The Rajasthan Royal cricketer, who seems to be a huge Andrew Tate fan, responded to a fan’s comment asking about his well-being. After the American-British former kickboxer was arrested, a fan tweeted, “Andrew Tate arrested, someone please check on Riyan Parag.” Parag responded to the comment and said, “Hit the gym”.
Notably, the social media influencer, along with his brother Tristan Tate faced charges including ‘sexual aggression’ in 2012-15. The Tate brothers were charged with rape, human trafficking, and forming a gang to exploit women in a separate case in Romania after they were arrested in the country’s capital in December 2022 alongside two Romanian women.
