Hood: Outlaws and Legends is undoubtedly going to be one of the most exciting adventure games. The Robin Hood inspired game, developed by Sumo Newcastle and published by Focus studio, is expected to release on May 7, 2021. In the game, the players will be required to form a team of 4 members which will compete against an equally powerful team. Both the human teams will have a similar objective of taking down the AI-controlled units, which gives a unique touch to this interesting multiplayer game.
Details about the game
The official game description reads as, "In a violent, medieval world, outplay rival gangs in intense PvE multiplayer heists. Moving in stealth to steal treasures unseen or dominating through loud and brutal combat, only the best will escape with hard-earned riches."
Although the game was announced last year, there wasn't much information available about it. However, the developers have slowly started to reveal some intriguing details about Hood: Outlaws and Legends. It has now been confirmed that the four classes available in the adventurous game are inspired by Robin Hood (The Ranger), Maid Marian (The Hunter), Little John (The Brawler) and Friar Tuck (The Mystic).
'The Ranger' - Inspired from Robin Hood
Last week, the developers gave a sneak peak about the game while releasing the character gameplay trailer of 'The Ranger'. The character, inspired from Robin Hood, will specialize in taking down forces from distance. 'The Ranger' is an expert archer and has a special ability to tag targets for prolonged duration. Defensively, the character uses the option of 'evade' rather than a 'block'. 'The Ranger' excels in infiltration and stealthy tactics and is extremely fast and elusive in combat.

'The Hunter' - Inspired from Maid Marian
The developers have now revealed the much-awaited character gameplay trailer of 'The Hunter'. This character is inspired from Maid Marian, the heroine of Robin Hood legend. In the trailer, she is described as an elusive and mysterious character, known for her quick takedowns. The special thing about the 'The Hunter' will be her invisibility magic and smoke grenades which will could be key in the process of infiltration. Her primary weapon has been described as a modified arm crossbow which will be lethal for close to mid-range encounters.
The character also boasts a unique trait of 'shadow' which allows her to assassinate guards from any direction. The most amazing thing about 'The Hunter' is her shroud, which makes it completely undetectable by guards. She is already looking a really valuable character in the game. All the gamers would be eagerly waiting to execute the powers of 'The Hunter'.

Notably, the gameplay trailers of the other two characters should be released very soon. While 'The Brawler' is inspired from Little John, 'The Mystic' will be based on Friar Tuck. While the initial two trailers have taken the gaming world by storm, the fans will be eagerly waiting to know about the powers and unique abilities of the other two characters.
