Pakistan must win their remaining two games against South Africa and Bangladesh to reach their maximum potential of 6 points in the table. If Pakistan can win both their games either one of the following results must go their way.

Scenario 1:

South Africa must lose to the Netherlands.

If this happens then India and Pakistan will qualify for Semi-finals with both these teams alone having 6 (or) more points.

The points table will be

India - 8 / 6 pts
Pakistan - 6 pts
South Africa, Zimbabwe - 5 pts
Bangladesh, Netherlands - 4 pts

Scenario 2:

India must lose to Zimbabwe by a considerable margin.

If India loses to Zimbabwe then the points table will be

South Africa - 7 pts
India, Pakistan - 6 pts
Zimbabwe - 5 pts
Bangladesh - 4 pts
Netherlands - 2 pts

One among India or Pakistan can reach the semi-finals based on NRR.  Pakistan should look to win their remaining two games by a big margin so that they can pip out India on Net run rate (NRR).
