While the Smriti Mandhana-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Women might have suffered a close one-run defeat against the Delhi Capitals Women at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi in match 17 of WPL 2024, they still remain in contention for the playoffs. However, the situation currently stands in balance with three more games left in the league stage.

However, the last year finalists in DC Women and MI Women have already confirmed their berths, three teams including RCB Women, UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants will go all out as they still have a match at least left.

WPL 2024 league stage matches left:

March 11: Gujarat Giants vs UP Warriorz

March 12: Mumbai Indians Women vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Women

March 13: Delhi Capitals Women s Gujarat Giants

How can RCB Women qualify for WPL 2024 playoffs?

For Royal Challengers Bangalore Women to qualify for the WPL 2024 Playoffs, below mentioned are the conditions that need to go their way.

If UP Warriorz lose their clash against Gujarat Giants on Monday, March 11, the equation for RCB Women will very clear.

Moreover, if RCB Women secure a victory over Mumbai Indians Women in their last league match of the season, it will ensure them a playoffs place, only if their NRR does not fall behind UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants.

If UPW win their game against GG, a loss to MI Women will knock RCB Women out. In such a case, RCB Women will have to beat MI, ensuring they finish above Alyssa Healy-led outfit in terms of NRR.

Moreover, GG could qualify only if RCB Women and UP Warriorz lost their matches and the Giant defeat DC Women. In this scenario, all three teams including UPW, RCB Women & GG will be tied on six points and the team with better NRR will advance further.
