It was an unforgettable day for Delhi Capitals as they were completely outplayed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their eleventh game of the season. After conceding 208 in 20 overs with the ball, DC were bowled out for 117 with 14 balls to spare. After getting a brisk start, the Rishabh Pant-led team lost the plot and eventually the game by 91 runs.
With this loss, DC have dented their chances of qualifying for the playoff. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are putting on a show at the business end of the tournament. They have won two out of three games even since MS Dhoni took over CSK captaincy from Ravindra Jadeja.
Devon Conway was the hero for CSK with the bat as the batter scored a brilliant 53-ball 87. Shivam Dube also chipped in with a 19-ball 32. MS Dhoni's late cameo of 21* off 8 balls also helped CSK's cause in putting 208 on the board. In bowling, Moeen Ali did a great job to take three wickets at the expense of 13 runs in his four overs.
