Daniel Ricciardo, who is struggling for form in 2022, has expressed his views on the growing rumours over his Formula 1 future with McLaren. The Australian racer took to Twitter to release an official statement about his future and has shown his determination to bounce back in French Grand Prix.

The 33-year-old McLaren driver has issued a statement on his official Twitter handle ending the speculations over his F1 future. He said: "There have been a lot of rumors around my future in Formula 1, but I want you to hear it from me."

McLaren have recently signed two IndyCar stars in Colton Herta and Alex Palou, who are considered future stars in F1. The signings have raised concerns over Ricciardo's future with the British Motor Racing team.

Daniel said, "I am committed to McLaren until the end of next year and am not walking away from the sport. Appreciate it hasn't always been easy, but who wants it easy! I'm working my a** off with the team to make improvements and get the car right and back to the front where it belongs. I still want this more than ever. See you in Le Castellet. Daniel."

The Australian international, who is currently 12th in the F1 championship, has cleared his intent for participating in the French GP 2022 starting from July 22 to 24. The Aussie is 47 points behind team-mate Lando Norris in the F1 standings.
