Raina used to be the loyalist of CSK franchise and the fallout between both soon became a hot topic among cricket fraternity. However, as per the current development, 35-year-old is set to make a comeback in the lucrative league and has expressed his hope of getting a chance in next year's IPL auction. While speaking to Dainik Jagran, Suresh Raina stressed upon the fact that he is currently training really hard in the nets and confident of getting another opportunity in the T20 League.

"Yes, I have been working really hard and spending lot of time in the nets. I am focusing on keeping my basics intact and not too much thinking of IPL 2023 auction. But I would love to make a return in the league and will expect some incredible bids on my name," said Suresh Raina.

The all-rounder further praised his former teammate and current Indian wicket-keeper batter Dinesh Karthik by saying that the batter is in incredible form and will definitely do something amazing for the Indian cricket in upcoming T20 World Cup. "He has always been this focused. He has trained really hard due to which his performances at the highest level are so amazing. He will be part of the World Cup squad and we are confident that his contribution will be immense," added Raina.
