The Den ver Broncos suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss against the Indianapolis Colts at the Empower Field at Mile High. One of the main culprits of this defeat was recently traded Quarterback Russell Wilson as he threw two interceptions.

Wilson also missed an extremely open KJ Hamler in overtime and was also sacked four times and picked off twice. But after the defeat, the former Seattle Seahawk expressed that the team as a whole needs to get better. He also stated that he let the Broncos down, especially after their incredible defensive performance.

"It's very simple -- at the end of the day I've got to be better, I've got to play better," Wilson said. "The defence played their butts off tonight, we had some key good drives. ... At the end of the day throwing two interceptions can't happen. Can't happen. I let the team down tonight."

He further addressed that the team made a few great play calls but he couldn’t deliver them. He said, "I was ready to move around if I needed to. ... We went for it. We didn't want to end in a tie, we wanted to win the game. ... I've got to find a way to make a play, whatever it takes."

Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett talked about how the loss wasn’t all Wilson’s fault while the team needs to take responsibility for the defeat. "I know Russell feels bad about that game, but it's not just on him," Hackett said.

"It's on all of us. It's on the entire team, and for us to learn from this and grow, grow from all five games that we've had. We've got a little time off. Everybody can take a breath. It's been a unique schedule, and we can reconvene and get back and get ready to go win another football game."
