Indian Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra urged the Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar and his office to resolve Kishore Jena’s visa issues. Jena, a promising javelin thrower, is facing issues related to his visa ahead of the World Athletics Championships 2023. The Diamond League champion requested the Indian Cabinet Minister to look into the matter and find a solution.

I hope the authorities are able to find a solution, as this is one of the biggest moments of his career. Let’s do everything we can. 🙏@MEAIndia @DrSJaishankar”
