Indian actor and producer Vijay Deverakonda opened up about his love for former India and Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni. The Telugu star has been an avid cricket fan and was recently spotted at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad supporting the Sunrisers against the Mumbai Indians.
Luckily for the 'Liger' star, his hometown team put forth a stunning performance posting a massive total of 277 runs in 20 overs, the highest total in IPL history and secured a 31-run win to get off the mark in IPL 2024. Coming to MS Dhoni, Vijay Deverakonda was asked about Captain Cool during promotional interviews for his new feature Family Star.

Speaking to Indiaglitz, Vijay Deverakonda said, "I love the Chennai team. I love MS Dhoni. I love Dhoni from his first days. So, I would love to see that. I heard that the Chennai Stadium is the best to watch the match." Further in the interview, Deverakonda also spoke about possibly attending the IPL final in Chennai.

Like MS Dhoni, Vijay Deverakonda is also a massive fan of Indian batting star Virat Kohli. Speaking in a recent interview, Deverakonda wished Kohli would win the Indian Premier League as he accomplished a lot in his career. Deverakonda said, "Everybody wants to win. Especially, people with the same level of competitive spirit as that of Virat Kohli won't like it when they don't win.
"But he has accomplished so much that we shouldn't hold this as an issue against him. He has accomplished so much as a person, as a batsman, as a player for India. He has done so much. He has seen so much success. I really would love to see him win that cup just for his personal happiness," he continued.
