Chennai Super Kings have redeemed themselves after their dismal outing in IPL 2022. The side beat defending champions Gujarat Titans by 15 runs to enter the final of the ongoing edition of the 16 th  edition of the Indian Premier League. However, the uncertainty of MS Dhoni’s future in IPL still remains under cloud, the former India skipper made a big statement with regard to same.

On being asked on whether he will return to the Chepauk, the CSK skipper said that he is unsure of the same. “I don’t know (back next year?) - I have 8-9 months to decide. Why take that headache now. I’ll always be there for CSK, where it’s playing or something outside.”

Earlier in the season when Danny Morrison had asked the CSK skipper if this is his last season at the toss ahead of match against LSG at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, the 41-year-old said that it’s the fans who are making it his last, leaving not only fans but also the former cricketer thinking.

It is to be noted that Chennai Super Kings have entered the IPL final for the 10 th  time out of the 14 editions that they have featured in. The side will; now see the winner of Qualifier 2 which will see either of LSG or MI lock horns with GT on May 26 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
