Table-topper Gujarat is all set to lock horns with out-of-contention Mumbai Indians on Thursday at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Gujarat skipper Hardik Pandya is having a terrific campaign in IPL, as he is performing exceptionally well with bat & ball, and his side has managed to win eight games out of ten. The Gujarat franchise is currently placed at the top of the points table.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated clash between two teams, the Gujarat franchise shared a video of Hardik Pandya, where the skipper revisited his old memories from the Mumbai camp. Hardik made his IPL debut while playing for Mumbai Indians and soon became a vital cog in the squad. Former MI player played a few defining innings for five-time champions and spent some of his most memorable time in the blue jersey.

In the video shared by Gujarat Titans, Hardik recalled his old days and confessed to having a special bond with Mumbai Indians all-rounder Kieron Pollard. Hardik even shared that he wished Pollard to play for Gujarat Titans next season but admitted that 'it's far from reality.'

Sharing his fun chat with Pollard, Hardik jokingly revealed, 'You never know; you might come to us next year!' It's my wish, but I know it will never happen.' Adding further, Hardik said that he wants Pollard to perform well but wants Gujarat Titans to win.

The 28-year-old further recalled his first match-winning knock for Mumbai Indians against Chennai Super Kings in 2015. He stated, "Those two Man of the Matches were very special; it was a knockout for us. I got my first glimpse of success and fame in that game, scoring some three sixes. We needed two overs, 32 or something, and we won with three-four balls to spare." Hardik also accepted that winning four titles will always be special for him.
