England won the men's T20 World 2022 by beating Pakistan in the final. It was a brilliant bowling performance from Sam Curran and Adil Rashid and a sensational under-pressure innings from Ben Stokes which ensured the Three Lions go past Pakistan's total with 5 wickets in hand and an over to be spared.

England team restricted Pakistan to a total of 137/8 in 20 overs. Sam Curran finished with bowling figures of 3/12 while Adil Rashid scalped 2 wickets in the final game while conceding just 22 runs.

Pakistan pacers were breathing fire in 2nd innings and troubled the England batters with their stunning pace. England skipper Jos Buttler gave a sparkling start but got dismissed for 26 runs and later Ben Stokes fifty helped his team remain alive in the match and eventually come out on top.

Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan were impressive with bowling figures of 2/23 and 1/20 respectively while Shaheen Afridi's untimely injury couldn't help his team's cause.
