India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets with the help of clinical performance from Indian skipper Rohit Sharma with the bat who smashed 86 runs in just 63 balls. Initially, India winning the toss invited Pakistan to bat first and restricted them to just 191 runs with the help of a clinical bowling performance from Jasprit Bumrah and other bowlers like Kuldeep Yadav, Jadeja, Siraj, and Hardik Pandya also picking two wickets with the ball respectively.

India chased down 192 runs comfortably in 30.3 overs itself where Shreyas Iyer was also seen smashing fifty alongside Rohit Sharma's bolstering innings at the top.
