India defeated South Africa by a huge margin and won their 8th consecutive game on trot in ODI World Cup 2023 with the help of stunning performance from Ravindra Jadeja and a sensational century from Virat Kohli respectively. India winning the toss opted to bat first and posted a huge total of 326/5 on board with the help of a powerful start from Rohit Sharma and a brilliant ton from King Kohli, while Shreyas Iyer also played a beautiful role of scoring a solid fifty (77) for his side.

South Africa got bundled out for just 83 runs as they failed to read the Indian spin bowling attack from Ravindra Jadeja, who ended up picking a five-wicket haul (5/33) in this game and Shami also once again managed to pick two wickets in this game. Among Protea batters, no one even managed to touch 15 runs in the second innings against this deadly bowling attack.
