I was working with Yuvraj paaji, Brian Lara and now Gauti bhai: Abhishek Sharma

After the match, Abhishek Sharma took names of some of the former cricketers and credited them for providing him guidance in early days of his career. Abhishek said that he has worked with Yuvraj Singh, Brian Lara and Dan Vettori when he started his career in domestic cricket in the IPL> He further took name of current head coach Gautam Gambhir and thanked all of them for showing their support.

“I was working with Yuvi paaji [Yuvraj Singh] at first. Going forward, I had Brian Lara, who really helped me at SRH. Moving forward, Dan Vettori was pretty simple, he just wanted everyone to express themselves, and I think that gave me the freedom to play my shots. So obviously, with Yuvraj Singh, Brian Lara and even Gauti bhai right now, they just want me to showcase my talent the way I play and to back myself,” Abhishek Sharma was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
