Cameroonian and French MMA star Francis Ngannou came up with an epic response to Jon Jones’ claims that he would beat him. UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones said that he wanted to fight PFL star Ngannou, while adding that he would beat him. He was present at the PFL Champions v ersu s Bellator Champions pay-per-view.
During the interview, he said, “I feel like there’s a lot of fights the world wants right now. There’s the Tom Aspinall fight that’s really massive. Francis Ngannou and I would be really massive. And Stipe, to the hardcore fans, is still a respectable opponent.” He added, “I don’t know how the cards are going to fall. My prediction is that I will beat Stipe Miocic. My prediction is I will beat Tom Aspinall and Francis Ngannou. The way that it unfolds is really not my business. My job is to do what I’ve always done, since day one.”
In the same interview, when the camera panned towards Ngannou, he could be head saying, “In your dreams, you are f****ng fat.”
Francis Ngannou to fight Renan Ferreira on return
Francis Ngannou is all set to return to MMA after his fight against Anthony Joshua, set to take place on March 8 in Saudi Arabia. This will be his second professional boxing fight after he made his debut against Tyson Fury in October 2023. On his return MMA fight, the 37-year-old will lock horns against Heavyweight Superfight winner Renan Ferreira, who defeated Ryan Bader in their recent clash.
After booking his MMA date with Ngannou, Ferreira sent a message for his next rival and said, "I'm the record breaker, I'm the record setter. Francis, where you at? I'm waiting, let's do this. I'm the champion out here."
