India and Australia are currently locking horns in the first Test of the four-match series in Nagpur. After winning the toss, Pat Cummins-led Australia opted to bat first. However, the Indian bowlers were all over the place as they bundled out the visitors for a score of 177 on Day 1 of the ongoing Test. Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who returned to the cricket field after a gap of five months run havoc through the Aussie batters as he registered a five-wicket haul.

From here on, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma took charge of his side as he contributed with a well-made century. With his ninth Test hundred, Sharma also became the only Indian skipper to score a century across all three formats.

Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Suryakumar Yadav - all failed to make a mark with the bat, but the former Indian skipper won hearts with his presence on the field. A fan spotted among the spectators was captured holding a poster which read, “I love Virat Kohli more than my wife”. The picture of this fan is now doing rounds on the internet.
Talking more about the match, India currently has a lead of more than 200 runs on the third day of the Test. After the first Test, the two teams will next play a Test at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, starting 17 February.
