India and Australia are currently locking horns in the second Test in Delhiā€™s Arun Jaitley Stadium. After the Pat Cummins-led side was bundled out at the score of 263 on Day 1, the Men in Blue started strong after successfully escaping reviews. However, the Day 2 on ongoing Test was a good start for the visitors as they were jolted with a massive blow.

Ahead of the start of Day 2, Australia opener David Warner was ruled out of the second Test. This decision was taken after the cricketer suffered a concussion. On Day 1 of the Test, Warner was hit by a bouncer from Mohammed Siraj while batting in the middle and was later dismissed at the score of 15. He also did not take the field in India innings on Day 1.

Matt Renshaw named concussion substitute

 

After this blow, Matt Renshaw replaced the Australian veteran. Notably, the 26-year-old, who was part of the first Test was not named in the second Test with Travis Head replacing him in Australia XI .
