Australia posted a huge total of 480 runs on board with the help of Usman Khawaja's massive 180-run knock and Cameron Green's stunning century. Their knocks was very well supported by their 9th wicket pair Nathan Lyon-Todd Murphy who added 70 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin's brilliant spell of 6/91 helped India to take all 10 wickets of Australia's innings. In reply, India have managed to score 36/0 at the end of day 2 in a span of 10 overs and it will be interesting to see how day 3 of this Test will unfold.
