Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh has made a smooth transition to cricket commentary. Even before announcing his retirement from all forms of cricket Harbhajan associated himself with a handful of commentary and media stints and now devotes most of his time to express views on Indian cricket.

While he is part of the commentary panel for the broadcast in Hindi, seems like even the experts can make a mistake given the rapid changes that are happening in Indian cricket in the last few months. Notably, Team India has already used 5 captains in the calendar year 2022- the first time in Indian history that such a feat has happened since 1959.

Although there are several reasons why the selectors and the management were forced to have so many captains, once again there are doubts over who will lead India when they take on England in the rescheduled fifth Test match against England. This is because India captain Rohit Sharma contracted COVID-19.

In a recent tweet by the ICC, they asked who could lead India in case The Hitman fails to recover in time. To this, Harbhajan replied KL Rahul. Although Rahul would have been the first choice to lead as he is the designated vice-captain in all formats, the Turbanator forgot that Rahul has been ruled out of the complete UK tour with a groin injury.

Before Bhajji could realise his mistake though, several fans were quick to pounce on the opportunity to take a screengrab and remind the World Cup winner that he had made a mistake. Harbhajan later deleted the tweet and mentioned Jasprit Bumrah's name.

Several reports have suggested that it could indeed be Bumrah who could lead the Men in Blue against an in-form England. If that happens, he will become the first fast bowler in 35 years to captain India in a Test match after the legendary Kapil Dev.
