57:Sanjana's reaction to Bumrah's shot SportsTiger
The first day of the second Test between India and South Africa was filled with a lot of action. India struggled to score runs after opting to bat first. KL Rahul once again stood up to the occasion and scored a gritty half-century but it was the bowlers from both sides who stole the show by taking 11 wickets in three sessions. Even while batting, Jasprit Bumrah entertained the spectators by hitting a six off Kagiso Rabada. His wife Sanjana Ganesan’s reaction to the shot only made it enthralling.
It was the 62nd over of India’s first innings when Bumrah hit a hook shot to earn his team six valuable runs. On the fifth delivery of the over, Kagiso Rabada bowled a bouncer at full pace but Bumrah was quick to put his bat behind the ball and hit it over fine leg for a six. The shot may not have been as good as Rohit’s hook shot but the effort from Bumrah was brilliant. It was also pretty well received in the stands by his wife Sanjana who looked overjoyed. R Ashwin’s wife Prithi Narayan’s reaction was also a precious one.

Day 2 demands for vicious bowling from Bumrah & Co.
The first day did not go as well as India would have expected but a gritty knock from the stand-in captain and a well-paced innings from R Ashwin helped India put a respectable total (202/10) on the board. It was backed by a few good spells from the Indian pace attack led by Mohammad Shami. The right-arm pacer accounted for Aiden Markram thrice in three innings and gave India the first breakthrough. However, a cautious approach from Dean Elgar Keegan Petersen did not allow Indians to make inroads.
Therefore, Day 2 demands for vicious bowling from Jasprit Bumrah and Co. The Indian pacers need to show the same potency as their counterparts and bowl out South Africa as early as possible.
