As per reports, it's believed that the BCCI has shared a draft schedule of the 2023 ODI WC tournament with ICC, and it has been sent to other participating countries for feedback before the final schedule gets released officially.
As per the draft schedule prepared by BCCI, it's believed that the tournament opener will be played between England and New Zealand at Ahmedabad on 5th October, and India will play their opening game against Australia at Chennai on 8th October.
India is said to play nine group-stage matches across nine different venues, at Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Dharamsala, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru in this ODI World Cup. Notably, India would face Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 15th October.
