After the Thailand Open, the Indian badminton team will be seen playing in the Asia Mixed Team Championships 2023, scheduled to take place between 14-19 February in Dubai. Ahead of the start of the tournament, the draws were announced on Tuesday (31 January) at the Dubai Sports Council.

With draws announced, India is placed in Group B of the tournament alongside Malaysia, UAE and Kazakhstan. While Group A consists of China, Korea, Singapore and Uzbekistan, Group C includes Indonesia, Thailand, Bahrain, Syria and Lebanon. The Group D comprises of Japan, China, Taipei, Honk Kong and Pakistan.  

The continental tournament will see seventeen team play in a six-day event. They will compete in round robin format with the top two teams advancing to the knockout.

Women's singles: PV Sindhu, Aakarshi Kashyap
Men's doubles:  Satwiksairaj Ranikreddy/Chirag Shetty, Krishna Prasad Garga/Vishnuvardhan Goud P
