Ahead of T20 World Cup 2022, Team India are set to play a number of matches in order to prepare for the mega event. The Men in Blue have already registered some impressive wins at home against West Indies and Sri Lanka in last few days and as they get set for IPL 2022 after the Test series against Sri Lanka, BCCI is now getting the post IPL plans for national team ready.
As part of India's FTP, South Africa and New Zealand are slated to tour India to play T20I matches and if the latest reports are to be believed, details of one of the series have been jotted down. According to Cricbuzz, India are set to play a 5-match T20I series against Proteas from June 9 to 19.
The decision was notably taken during BCCI's Apex Council meeting on March 2 (Wednesday) where the likely venues for series were also discussed. The report mentioned that Cuttack, Vizag, Delhi, Rajkot and Chennai are the probably five venues which will host the India vs South Africa T20Is.

BCCI is likely to make an official announcement on the schedule and venues in coming days, which will give a clear picture of how the India vs South Africa series is going to pan out.
