India to play against Pakistan on August 19 in Road Safety World Series in UK : SportsTiger Sources

The 2023 edition will be marking the debut of the Pakistan Team in the exhibition tournament.

As per sources close to SportsTiger, the upcoming Road Safety World Series 2023 will see Team India take on Pakistan for the first time in the history of the tournament. The marquee fixture will take place on August 19.  This year's edition will be marking the debut of the Men in Green in the exhibition tournament which started in 2020 to raise awareness to raise about road safety.

The 2023 edition of the Road Safety World Series will take place in the United Kingdom, which is also a first for the tournament. The previous two editions of the tournament were played in India, where the hosts emerged victorious on both occasions. The  Road Safety World Series has so far had eight teams compete. But the 2022 edition saw seven teams with the exclusion of  New Zealand Legends.

Talking about the 2022 RSWS final, Sachin Tendulkar-led India Legends took down the Sri Lanka Legends with a 33-run margin. Batting first, the Indian team, posted 195 runs on the back of a stunning century by wicketkeeper-batter Naman Ojha. Then in the second innings, Vinay Kumar emerged as a star performer for India legends. The Karnataka seamer picked up three wickets as the Indian team won the trophy for the second consecutive time.
