Rohit Sharma-led India registered a thumping win over Tom Latham’s New Zealand in the second ODI on Saturday. The Men in Blue beat their Kiwi counterparts by eight wickets to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series. The bowlers, led by Mohammed Shami (3/18) starred for India. This is the second consecutive series win for India this year.

Now, with the series sealed, the Men in Blue will be focused on testing their bench strength before the three-match T20I series gets underway. The final ODI is scheduled to take place in Indore on 24 January and will provide India with a chance for a clean sweep against New Zealand. As the Indore pitch is known to assist the batters, bowlers from both teams will rely on weather conditions to some extent to make an impact. But irrespective of the result, both India and New Zealand will hope for a full game, and for that, the rain will have to stay away. So, let us look at what the weather forecast says.
