The Hero Super Cup is back after a four-year break as the 11 ISL sides and the five  I-League sides get ready to lock horns. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced the creation of the Super Cup in 2018 as a replacement for the Federation Cup which will be conducted in a round-robin format with four groups with four teams each.


The last two editions were won by FC Goa and Bengaluru FC in 2019 and 2018 respectively. The Qualifying Round took place from April 3 to April 6 at the Manjeri Payyanad stadium in Kerala with four winners earning their spot in the Group Stages - Sreenidi Deccan FC, Churchill Brothers FC Goa, Aizawl FC and Gokulam Kerala FC.
