Team India have taken a commanding position in the first Test against Bangladesh. After bundling out Bangladesh on 150 in first innings, Indian batter dominated in the second innings as centuries from Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara helped India take a 513 runs lead. In reply, Bangladesh openers Najmul Shanto and Zakir Hasan showed positive intent as the hosts finished Day 2 on 42/0.

With India likely to take the first Test, the Playing XI for 2nd Test is generating buzz. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who missed the first Test due to a thumb injury, is set to return for the final Test as he made himself available. With Rohit back in the squad, which player is likely to get dropped?

As Shubman Gill scored a brilliant century in the second innings, dropping him would be tough for the management. Rahul Dravid and Co. might push Shubman down the order to keep Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul in the opening position. With the inclusion of Rohit, all-rounder Axar Patel is likely to be dropped for the 2nd Test.

We can expect another change in the XI as Team India might include Jaydev Unadkat in place of Umesh Yadav. Unadkat has been included in the squad after 12 years and Team might give the pacer an opportunity in the 2nd Test.

India's predicted XI for 2nd Test against Bangladesh

Rohit Sharma (C), KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat, Mohammed Siraj
